Golfing Nova Scotia — Day 1

My good pal Steve, earlier this year, expressed an interest in taking an RV trip to Nova Scotia, and having made the trip on scooters with Robin in 2016 (see previous posts on the Cabot Trail), I eagerly agreed, knowing that it would involve great scenery and now, with the recent addition of the new Cabot Links, great golf as well. As I had a commitment to the Theater at Monmouth throughout the month of September (music director for their Gilbert and Sullivan show), we scheduled the trip for the day after the show closed.

And so, tonight I find myself parked in Bayview, New Brunswick, having made an uneventful drive from home. We are staying one night here at Island View Campground, and due to the lateness of the season, we were given the prime spot overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay.

Here are some more views of our spot, really one of the nicest RV campsites of my (admittedly limited) experience:

Tomorrow, it is our plan to stay in Caribou, Nova Scotia, at one of Nova Scotia’s provincial parks, our longest driving day of the trip. I will update the blog tomorrow evening, assuming all goes according to plan. Thanks for following!
